R4nger5 Radio episode 76 was made live yesterday. V is han solo in his tent giving us a few stories of interest and a not so subtle kick in the ass to get the content going again. New musical sources have also been found, and if we can get a stable comms system going then these will be a lot more regular.

After a chat with Kevin, earlier, today, we came up with a good weekend for another r4nger5 meet.

So here it is 19/20/21 June (fri-sun) with people turning up randomly all over the weekend. It will be at Rough Hey Wood campsite again (sorry – not had much time to look for other venues this year)

If anyone needs details of the venue – drop me a line, or comment on this post.

The usual mix of bushcrafting, camping , evening campfires and the like. Given that it will be better weather, there is likely to be a premium on space at the campsite, so those who turn up early get better choice of pitch. All in posssesion of a sense of humour are welcome!

I know I have a load of kit that will need field testing!

Well Sloe and I got back from the woods in one piece and I have just had a few Lazy days and some time at the allotment.

Outside of that, I have been trying to get the footage sorted out for the second wild camping video edited and set up. Without much success.

Also the Running Order is up for episode 61. You can get it here. We are recording tonight – sorry that’s not much notice, but time is limited this week – largely due to my having wasted a lot of it.

Right guys – am off into the woods for 2 days with Sloe – though the weather might beat us back a bit – hopefully there will be another Combat Short or two after the weekend.

It was a hard won episode this time, and I know the sound quality is variable – we tried everything, so DON’T bother to complain about sound quality. We know there are problems, but we did spend a lot of time and effort to get it right – be glad it’s there at all!

Last night, Avagdu and Enloopious set up a pod cast recording for another conspiracy show, and APIPA, Kevin and myself wandered along to lend a few different viewpoints. (truth be told, I only found out about it during the sound check - lol!)

The subjects covered were flouride in the drinking water, with links supplied by both Enloopious and APIPA, and Inspirational movies based on Avagdu’s, quite frankly, astounding list of films that have inspired him.

It was great fun to join in and I’m sure it will be made available to everyone as soon as all the post-production gets done. So I’m thinking sometime after the weekend.
